Flexible education developers provide support to people who wish to use educational technologies to enhance student learning outcomes and course operations. Some examples of support needs are:
- Making courses more stimulating and challenging using a problem or project-based approach
- Improving learning processes to enable more effective learning outcomes, such as developing integrated learning activities that connect theory with practical applications
- Enabling courses to be offered to off-campus students
Support can be arranged in workshops or by direct contact with any of the Flexible Education Developers. This may lead to questions being answered in a brief discussion, support for applications for project funding, or ongoing project development support to enable a significant course enhancement. The case studies provide some examples of course developments that have received Flexible Education support.
