A Flexible Education approach aims to foster active learning through using educational technologies to improve course and program design to support and enhance student learning.
Flexible education approaches apply:
- Research into effective approaches to enhancing student learning outcomes using educational technologies
- Published examples of good practice using educational technologies
- Experience of using educational technologies for course enhancements at UNSW and at other universities
Our flexible education developers can support you in developing an active learning approach that will improve student engagement and help them to attain high level outcomes. Educational technologies are used in creative ways to enhance or enable learning activities that keep students engaged throughout the course, and lead to enhanced capabilities in subject knowledge and graduate attribute development.
EDTeC runs flexible education workshop programs that can take you from concept to completion in designing and developing a web-supported or web-dependent course. Or there are standalone workshops for deeper exploration of topics of interest. Please see A Blended Approach and Enhanced Learning for details.
We are also happy to meet with individulas or school groups, to discuss your ideas and requirements. Please see Support and Project Development.
