At a basic level this would include ensuring that if large bodies of text are to be read, students have the ability to print out the material if desired, or that the printed form is made available. Another consideration is the amount of time students are expected to be online when off-campus. Identifying all the student needs is essential in making a valued component. Student evaluation of the component is invaluable in this area to help identify previously unconsidered needs so that they may be addressed.
